Look what I found inside a Quilt

My sweet momma and I found this primitive old comforter inside a quilt.
We worked on it for sometime getting it out of the cover that someone put over this awesome piece of history.........all the work was covered by a tacky colored top, which I won't speak of. It boggles my mind as to why people do what they do.........this is a awesome old quilt with so much character, just look at all the feedsack fabric..........it has old cotton batting inside that still holds onto the seeds from the cotton mill............it is a true gem.....go see it in my etsy shop, if you are a true primitive lover, you will love this one!

oh how I wish it was Christmas, but not supposed to wish our lives away..........so I've been spending the HEAT in the house working on Gifts for the cooler season......no one said we shouldn't boycott summer, so that i s what I'm doing.......anything to get through. Lead Serve Love, 100 Three-Word Ways to Be Like Jesus, I truly enjoyed this little book(by little I mean in size and in no way is it's size belittled by measurement) this book has so much to offer. The three words often bring a smile and then when you look up the verse in the bible,there is so much more to it. Very easy read, but if you are in it for the true adventure, verse look up is a pleasure. I recommend this book as a gift for just about any occasion and of most all ages that are in the reading stage of life. I believe this would be a great learning book for children too. A wonderful book to read before going to sleep at night, very uplifting in spirit.
